HVAC Operational Inspection Comprehensive visual and operational verification of your vacation home’s HVAC system to help identify visible issues, airflow concerns, drainage problems, or operational irregularities that may impact guest comfort or overall system performance. THERMOSTAT & SYSTEM OPERATION ✔ Confirm thermostat operation and settings ✔ Confirm system responds appropriately to thermostat commands ✔ Observe blower/fan operation ✔ Verify cooling/heating mode activation (if applicable) AIRFLOW & TEMPERATURE ✔ Verify airflow at representative supply vents ✔ Measure approximate vent discharge temperature relative to thermostat setpoint ✔ Identify obvious airflow restrictions or weak airflow areas FILTER & INTERIOR SYSTEM ✔ Check accessible air filter condition ✔ Verify proper filter installation ✔ Check for visible water leaks or drain pan concerns ✔ Inspect accessible drain line for obvious blockage concerns ✔ Check for visible signs of condensation issues or potential microbial growth concerns near accessible components EXTERIOR CONDENSER UNIT ✔ Verify condenser unit operation ✔ Check for obvious visible damage or obstruction ✔ Check for excessive debris buildup around unit ✔ Listen for unusual operational noises if present GENERAL OBSERVATIONS ✔ Identify visible concerns that may require licensed HVAC evaluation ✔ Photo documentation provided ✔ Basic operational troubleshooting performed when feasible during the scheduled inspection window Our goal during this visit is to identify obvious operational issues and restore normal system function when feasible within the scheduled inspection window. This service is a visual operational inspection and does not constitute licensed HVAC repair, engineering analysis, environmental testing, or a comprehensive mechanical diagnostic evaluation. EVHS identifies visible operational concerns and system irregularities observed during the inspection but does not guarantee future HVAC performance, efficiency, or system lifespan.
